Recruitment Scams
It has come to our attention that LINN Energy’s name and marks have been used in connection with fraudulent employment offers made by organizations or individuals claiming to represent the Company. These letters and e-mails claim that an offer of employment has been made and requests the target of the scam to make payment for work permits, insurance, visas or other reasons.
These communications are a scam and do not originate from LINN Energy or anyone working on the Company’s behalf. LINN Energy does not ask for money or payments from any job applicant or candidate under any circumstances.
If you have been a target of one of these schemes, please contact your local or state police to provide them with the relevant information.
